Aspen Trees, Eastern Sierra Sky

Looking up through the canopy, golden aspen leaves fill the frame against a deep blue sky.

October in the Eastern Sierra, and the aspen leaves were at their peak, a brilliant gold against the clear blue sky. I positioned myself directly beneath the trees to capture the full effect of the colorful canopy.
