Fall colors in Sierra Nevada

During Fall, the Aspen trees in Sierra Nevada burst with colors. This photograph shows an Aspen tree changing color along with the sun peaking through the trees.

October in the Eastern Sierra, and the aspen leaves were at their peak, a brilliant gold against the clear blue sky. I positioned myself directly beneath the trees to capture the full effect of the colorful canopy.
