Fog was pushing in offshore while the green slope stayed clear, and the water went from turquoise at the rocks to deep blue further out.

Low cloud was sitting right at the horizon line, with a bank of fog rolling in from the right side of the frame while the coastline stayed in open light. The hillside drops steeply to the water, covered in scrub and scattered conifers, and a thin dirt road traces the slope further up the coast. The water itself shifts from pale turquoise near the rocks to a flat, deep blue further out where the fog hasn't reached yet.
