Lago di Braies Serenity

Wooden rowboats out on the emerald water of Lago di Braies, the forested slopes rising steeply all round.

August in the Dolomites, and the light was soft and diffused across the lake. The water was a striking green, and the boats added a touch of human presence to the scene. The surrounding mountains were a mix of rock and forest.
