Sierra Nevada Creek and Forest

A creek cascades over rocks through a forest in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Hiking through the Sierra Nevada in July, I found this creek cascading through the forest. The water was cold and clear, and the surrounding trees provided shade from the summer sun. It was a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
