El Capitan and snowy meadows

El Capitan over a snow-covered meadow and a line of snow-dusted pine in Yosemite Valley.

Winter in Yosemite Valley is always a treat, and the fresh snow on the granite cliffs and evergreen trees made for a beautiful scene. The clear blue sky was a perfect backdrop for the snow-covered landscape, with the sun highlighting the textures of the rock.
