Minarets Sunset

At sunset time in Lake Ediza, the Minaret mountain range get the last light. Ansel Adams wilderness is one of the most beautiful places along the John Muir Trail. Lake Ediza is a popular campsite in the area.

August in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, and the late-afternoon light was hitting the Minarets just right. The lake surface was still enough to reflect the peaks, and the wildflowers were in bloom along the shore.
