Minarets Sunset

The Minarets and surrounding granite peaks are reflected in a calm alpine lake, with the upper slopes of the left peak illuminated by golden light.

August in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, and the late-afternoon light was hitting the Minarets just right. The lake surface was still enough to reflect the peaks, and the wildflowers were in bloom along the shore.
