Evolution Valley and Evolution Creek, Goddard Canyon

Evolution creek and the peaks of Evolution valley, John Muir Trail.

Mid-July in the High Sierra, and the snowmelt was still running high. I spent the afternoon following this stream from the lake outlet down into the valley, looking for a good foreground with the peaks in the distance.
