El Capitan Reflected, Winter Snow

El Capitan's golden face is reflected in the Merced River, framed by snow-covered banks and trees.

Yosemite Valley in early winter, and the first snows have dusted the banks of the Merced. El Capitan was catching the last light of day, and the reflection was almost as bright as the cliff itself.
