Marie lake

Taken from the Selden Pass, Marie lake basin and the Seven Gables are seen in this photograph.

I spent a week in the Yosemite high country, and the Marie Lakes basin was the highlight. The water was so clear I could see the trout swimming 20 feet down, and the granite around the lake was polished smooth by glaciers.
