Southside drive frozen in Yosemite

Southside drive during freezing conditions at Yosemite National Park. Yosemite National Park is beautiful in all seasons, but it really comes alive in winter. The main roads are cleared often, but as this photo shows, Southside drive can get icy.

Yosemite Valley in late fall after the first snowfall of the season. The road is wet from melting snow, and the trees still have some of their autumn color, though most of the leaves have fallen.
