Emerald Lake

Emerald Lake reflects a steep, rocky basin partially obscured by low-hanging fog, with evergreen trees clinging to the slopes.

September in Rocky Mountain National Park, and the clouds were hanging low over Emerald Lake. The water was so clear I could see the rocks on the bottom, and the reflections of the mountains were almost perfect despite the soft mist.
