Tunnel view in winter

The famous tunnel view is covered in snow during winter months at Yosemite National Park Yosemite National Park is beautiful in all seasons, but it really comes alive in winter. During good snow years, there is snow everywhere in the meadows. It makes it dangerous to drive around, but if you can deal with icy roads, a world of wonder awaits. This is Tunnel View, as seen shortly after a winter storm.

The first snow of the season in Yosemite Valley, and the clouds were still socked in around El Capitan. The valley floor was a blanket of white, and the pines were heavy with snow.
