Sierra Nevada Granite and Sky

Granite domes and peaks rise above a green meadow dotted with boulders under a partly cloudy sky in the Sierra Nevada.

July in the High Sierra, and the granite was dry after a long stretch of sunny days. The meadows were still green, though, and the sky had that perfect mix of blue and puffy cumulus.
